JOIN US FOR REENACTMENT DAY!

Each year, the Constitution Island Association and the Hudson River Valley National Heritage Area honor West Point’s Constitution Island's role in the American Revolution and the Civil War by hosting Reenactment Day -- a family friendly event showcasing the lifestyles of the people who lived and fought during these pivotal periods in American history. Re-enactors from both wars perform tactical weapon demonstrations, inspections & formations, musket firings, artillery demonstrations, camp life recreations and military drills.

Come take a walking tour of beautiful and historic Constitution Island with the Constitution Island Association! Learn about the Island's Revolutionary War history and the life of the Warner Family on the Island. You can view Anna Warner's historic garden, visit the historic Revolutionary War Redoubts and learn more about the Island's history from our experienced Tour Guides. Wear comfortable shoes - there are some hills and rougher terrain on the hike!

2016 is our ONE HUNDREDTH YEAR! The Constitution Island Association was founded in 1916. Please help us celebrate by joining or renewing your membership: when you do, you are joining a distinguished group of people who have been important guardians of our nation’s history for these 100 years!
To honor our Centennial Year, we are giving a SPECIAL PREMIUM to those who renew their membership at or above the “Patron” level of $150: you will receive your choice of either “Light in the Morning,” the superb biography of Anna and Susan Warner by Mabel Baker, or “Leaving the Beaten Paths,” a selection of Susan Warner’s writing, exalting the year-round beauty of the Hudson Highlands.
